West Ham boss David Moyes is today being reported as being set to move in on Coventry striker  Viktor Gyokeres in the summer as West Ham News hots up during the international break.

The seventh placed Championship outfit want £20 million for the Swedish international but given they are on the verge of the play off places and the Hammers are caught in a relegation battle things could chance dramatically by the end of the season.

In the meantime Moyes has made a personal check on the striker and should we remain in the Premier League and Coventry miss out on promotion a deal could be on given he has never been afraid of sipping into the Championship for transfer targets

West Ham are keeping tabs on Coventry star Viktor Gyokeres

Gyokeres is having his best season so far and was involved off the bench against Belgium in Friday night’s  3-0 Euro qualifier defeat.

The hard-working  24-year-old spent four seasons at Brighton without making a Premier League appearance and joined Coventry in the summer of 2021 following half-a-season on loan.
