Moyes updates Dawson’s fitness

|

David Moyes appears to have ruled Craig Dawson out of action against Chelsea today on Saturday.

But it has nothing to do with the defender’s believed preference of returning further north  rather  the injury he has been carrying,

The knock to his thigh has kept him out of the team during pre-season and the opening games and unless Moyes is attempting to bluff Chelsea he won’t be back for the game/

He spoke to reporters about the move to Wolves which broke down on deadline day saying: He was our player so he was always going to be here unless we got something which would suit us and it didn’t work out that way. He is here so we are fine with that.

Wolves had made an offer and I think it came quite close but it didn’t get over the line. He’s not available at the moment. He might be a little while yet as he has only just recovered from a thigh strain.”

“A knock to his thing”? What does that mean – that he’s injured his manhood, his middle leg? Lower down (excuse the pun) it says he has a thigh strain. I hope Craig gets well soon, both mentally and physically. We still need you Daws!
