Moyes will keep an eye on Bristol City left back

David Moyes will keep an eye on Bristol City left back Cameron Pring in the FA Cup clash at the London Stadium

We  go into the next domestic cup competition knowing more or less what to expect as the manager makes his team selection. This game will be greeted no doubt with a little more enthusiasm than the Carabao Cup clash against a Bristol City team currently sitting in 11th place in the Championship but just four points outside of the play off zone.

Pring has been have been reported as being interest to us this winter or in the summer. He is under contract at Ashton Gate until the summer of 2024 after signing a two-year extension in January 2022. The Robins also have an option to extend that by a further year so this represent a nice little sub plot to a game we will be expected to win.

There is no certainty that Lucas Paqueta will return according  to our sources he describe as only as “ok…ish.” It’s unlikely too that Kurt Zouma will be back, probably now saving himself for Premier League games whilst Mikey Antonio is described as closer to fitness  “nearly there.”

That being the case it seems that Divin Mubama may well get his chance to lead the attack as we look to advance into the fourth round of the major domestic Cup competition.

Here’s the team we expect Moyes to select: Fabianski; Johnson, Mavropanos, Oggy, Emerson; Alvarez, Soucek, Ward-Prowse, Fornals,  Benrahma, Mubama.
