David Moyes knows better than anyone what he requires in the transfer window so he is not listening to anyone else’s opinion.

He knows he needs a couple of players and that a striker and defender are presumably on his wish list but at the end of the day it will be his decision and his only.
Having confirmed that he still wants a central defender the question is will he also bring in the striker for whom everybody has been crying out.
Speaking to reporters on the arrival of two more players he said: “It would be ideal if we could do that, it really would.
But it’s never exactly the way you want it in football, it’s very hard to get exactly who you want when you want them.
“I try not to make the decision that everybody thinks we should do, I try to do what I think we should do.
“I’m trying to find ways of adding more goals to the team and adding players who will help us conceding more goalsĀ  or help us be more creative.”
