Nene turns down contract extension

|

neneNene has confirmed he is leaving West Ham after both sides decided not to activate an extension clause in his contract. Speaking via his official Instagram page Nene made this statement.

“I won’t be at West Ham next season. I have spoken with the club and we agreed not to extend my current contract. This season didn’t offered me as much opportunities as I was prepared for.

My goal is to play for at least three more seasons at high-level, that’s the reason why I need to go to another club. I thank the fans for the permanent support. I wish the best success to my teammates and West Ham”

seems like a mutual decision rather than he turned us down. Good. he’s too old.

Another one treated shabbily by the manager, landing on the Allardyce scrapheap.
    What a waste of talent!

  • Bonzo64 says:

Not getting more game time must’ve been even more frustrating for him than it was for us fans. Could have been useful in the Europa League, but good luck to the guy; from what little we saw, he deserved better.

  • TysonM says:

Another guy we never saw the best of or anything of really thanks to our joke of an ex- manager!

Disgusting how the Fat ******* treated him, 90% of the time he was the only bloke who looked capable of creating something when he actually got game time

It was situations like this Nene one that made me so f*cking angry with the hippo.Any other manager would have given him a proper chance, but no not Allardyce, asshole!
