New away ticket plan trialled by Irons

The West Ham ticket office have announced they  are  starting a trial with some Premier League clubs which will see them using digital tickets to away games and this begins with a trial at Spurs.

The club have released a statement for the game on Sunday 19 February 2023, 4.30pm with an allocation of 3,038 Standard Tickets.

And they make it clear that supporters should only purchase tickets in Block 116 if they are happy to receive tickets in the digital form pointing out that it replicates the same process when using the season ticket for home games on the mobile device you may be using.

The process and trialled format looks almost certain to become common currency before the end of the season with paper now almost a thing of the past in most areas of business and commerce

In their statement the club make it clear of the processes they will be using saying:

“Please note that all tickets purchased in Block 116 will be issued as a digital ticket, as part of an Away Digital Ticketing Trial with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. Please only purchase tickets in this block if you are happy to receive your tickets in a digital format. This replicates the same process when using your Season Card via your mobile device to access London Stadium for home matches.

No traditional paper tickets will be issued for sales within this block under any circumstances and this is accepted and agreed to at time of purchase.

Bondholders and supporters on the Away Scheme who wish to take part in the Away Digital Ticketing Trial should contact the Ticket Office (0333 030 1966) before 5pm on Thursday 12 January to register their interest.”
