New Claret and Hugh questions to the board about Moyes: Thanks to C and H FB admin David Pope for image

West Ham will not be employing Graham Potter as their next manager but new Claret and Hugh questions to the board about Moyes’ position following yesterday’s humiliation have so far been ignored!

Potter is not fancied by the club according to the main Claret and Hugh source  but whether contract talks will continue with Moyes after the shameful display against Arsenal seem doubtful.

In answering the question about Potter it was followed by a stony silence when we questioned where the Scot stands after the 6-0 thumping.

That was in stark contrast to last week pre-Arsenal when we were told that talks were indeed going on after we told the board how Claret and Hugh and the vast majority of its followers were opposed to him getting one.

New Claret and Hugh questions to the board about Moyes

We have repeated the question in our latest e mail to the board and will of course let you know if and when we get a response.

Our current thinking is that the club will have slowed talks and the club will be looking at those  managers who will become available in the summer.

With the Irons in no danger of going down this season that seems to be the way forward for the board rather than making a hasty “sack him now ” decision.

However, it has also been suggested from inside the club that Moyes himself could take his future into his own hands by calling it a day if the fan unrest grows and grows

On Potter we were told: ” He isn’t fancied ” and that could be because even before his Chelsea sacking he had only managed to take Brighton to a highest place of 15th.

Right now there are no realistic candidates to take over which probably means we will have to suffer another couple of months of the rubbish we have been watching.
