|

A mistake on West Ham’s official club store yesterday evening has revealed the details of the new Hammers home and away shirts before their planned release on Friday. Descriptions of the two 2018/2019 shirts were briefly displayed on the club’s own website before they were hurriedly deleted.

The new home shirt is described as Claret featuring a tonal stripe design, Claret sleeves feature with sky blue cuff

Meanwhile, the Away shirt is described as a dark teal featuring a Claret cuff with a yellow coloured crest with an embroidered frame.

Better look it up myself then. Thanks guys. Medium blue green apparently. So dark teal is what ‘dark medium blue green’. Sounds revolting, but then again it could be anything so maybe it’s lovely.

What is ‘dark teal’ when it’s at home (or away -groan)?

Aargh! Blue sleeves! It must have blue sleeves!! I will concede that some great moments have happened in the more claret versions (Boys of 86, PDC wonder goal, Judas and Julian destroying (a grey clad) Liverpool in the league cup, but it must have blue sleeves!
You’ll be telling the away isn’t blue with 2 hoops or classic white next……oh Bugger.

Agree, Umbro are lazy with their ‘one design fits all’ policy. They must have the least imaginative designers working for them. Boring , boring , boring!

Cant see any tonal stripes in the shirt Pellegrini holding so maybe that’s a red herring……I truly hope so
