Noble confirms new arrivals on the way

|

Mark Noble has confirmed that several players will be leaving and a number of others arriving in the summer transfer window.

It is confirmation of a story published by ClaretandHugh a few days ago that up to six new players could arrive with two or three of them arriving over the next two or three weeks.

Noble clearly appears to be privy to the summer plans and has not held back from explaining the likely comings and going in his London Evening Standard column.

Amid the usual charges that “it’s season ticket time” from several fans who chose to greet the story with some cynicism it appears that Manuel Pellegrini will again be back with his requirements for the 2019/20 season.

It follows the £100m spend last summer which despite injuries and dodgy decisions from officials the Irons have  enjoyed a reasonable first season free of all relegation fears for some months.

Noble declared: “There will be some players leaving — perhaps four or five — and others coming in.

I think it’s needed, if I’m honest. We need some more hungry young players who want do well for the club. It can be a bit premature to say your goodbyes because frequently players don’t move on until well into pre-season.”

We do need fresh blood , who are hungry for success and will give it 110% week in week out . We need the positive energy and mindset to want to win every game and stick to the plan together . Believe in each other , the manager, players , staff fans etc . With the right addition I think Pelle will build a more competitive team with the big team mentality . I can see great potential with Pelligrini and see us top 6-7 . For this to happen I would ask the board to back him financially . It will be a worthwhile expense if we can get into Europe regularly . COYI ⚒

    • We need to bring strong quality players into our squad and for that to happened we need to start looking for one right now and get those players in fast. To be honest we want to have a best strongest side as we possibly can to make sure we are doing what’s best and right for the club . Maxi Gomez is a top class player and I am decent 💯 sure and confident that he will deliver and bring the club at best as ever can be that is going up to next level Europe league or even champions league would be a magical for all of us at West Ham so let’s wait and see and fingers cross we get the best players we need to help us to take to next step COME ON YOU IRONS ⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒

WHU have traditionally looked to sign ‘bargain’ deals for players whoare older, injury prone or carry other baggage while selling our feww serious players too cheaply. Maybe it is time to support a top draw manager with younger players with serious potential. This would mean fewer players are brought in which may necessitate the u23s brought in and out on a development curve
