Noble injury update

|

Mark Noble faces a scan on his ankle on Monday to discover the extent of the ankle problem he suffered at Burnley.

The captain was forced to hobble off in the first half and was  replaced by Andriy Yarmolenko but at this stage all that’s known is that he twisted his ankle .

A source told us by e mail this evening that he would face a scan on Monday to discover the full extent of the problem ahead of the next game against Spurs.

Meanwhile, Michail Antonio is back with the first team squad and will be involved in all the Rush Green sessions over the international break.

Winston Reid – still not match fit after his  knee injury – will be joining the New Zealand squad on international duty although the club is not entirely happy about that given he has only had 64 minutes of Under 23s football under his belt.

  • Lanzini says:

Don’t understand how this can happen or Reid is willing to go.
Is he homesick for NZ fish n chips.
Surely the same as Essex or East End
