Nolan on Irons window attitude

|

By Hughie Southon

Coach Kevin Nolan has been discussing the transfer window and the boss and board’s activity and attitudes this summer.

With three decent signings on board and eight weeks to go it will be a tough person who calls anyone out at this stage.

And it’s always a good idea to listen to Moysie’s backroom team, notably Kevin Nolan who has become a Hammer to his backbone.

He has also discussed what the gaffer expects from the lads in the boot room as we head into another critical season.

With games coming up at Ipswich and Boreham Wood on Tuesday night he knows wnat’s required of himself an the other coaches.

At this stage it’s all about building toward peak fitness and the squad made a really good start in Switzerland against Servette last night.

Nolan has been speaking to www.whufc.com and made his feelings clear on the point we had reached thus far.

He said: “Look, it’s nice (that we’ve made quality signings) and the gaffer is working hard with the owners to add to that group which is really good.

“So, for us, what we’ve got to do is keep working and keep producing what the gaffer wants us to do and working those boys really hard.”
