Whispers

Now it’s Gooner Morrison (oh dear)

IMG-20140807-WA000 (1)Daily Mail journo and friend of ClaretandHugh Matty Lawless has hit the nail on the head as a picture emerges of Ravel Morrison in an Arsenal shirt.

The 21 year old – currently involved in a Manchester court case which saw him make an appearance today –  has plenty of form for attracting attention.

But on a day like today this picture may just be a step too far after he appeared to be pictured in a Chelsea shirt on Twitter a few weeks ago.

Matt tweeted: “Ravel Morrison has admitted before that he is an Arsenal fan. But not sure now is the right time to wear their shirt.”

To be honest this Ravel stuff really is becoming more than a little tedious.

No-one is guilty until proved so! While this is true, Ravel appears to be on a mission to self destruct, if reports are correct and not a media attempt to discredit a talented player with an apparent ability to place himself in a spotlight! I have the greatest respect for his ability on the football pitch and simply don’t understand why anyone with such an opportunity, would make such an obvious move to absolutely screw up his career!

He is clearly an immature young man who is struggling to make the right decisions in life – I was there once but without one iota the talent Ravel possesses. Although this is a silly mistake, and I am sure he will live to regret it, I actually feel very sorry for the guy. He is displaying all the characteristics of failure in the making – think Gaza – and that is something any responsible club should step in and do something about.

I think WHUFC should get involved and help him out before he does something really terrible – I would hate to see him on the scrap heap as he can fulfill such an amazing career.

We have all been there, young, foolish and unaware of the damage we are causing ourselves. As supporter of our club and as people that love the game, we should rally round Ravel and make sure he realises every inch of his amazing talent.
