The silly season is almost among us as the transfer window officially opens at the stroke of midnight tonight.
With the speculation comes a betting market, or what the bookies like to call ‘transfer specials’ – the odds of players joining other clubs before 1st February 2017.
West Ham are seen as 33/1 outsiders to get the services of goalkeeper Joe Hart with Torino the 2/9 favourite to keep him on loan in Italy.
The Hammers are 16/1 to sign striker Saido Berahino with Stoke 4/1 favourites and Everton 9/2.
West Ham remain the 8/1 favourites to sign Daniel Sturridge with Southampton 10/1 and Arsenal 12/1
West Ham are third favourites to sign Marouane Fellaini at 14/1 with Inter Milan at 4/1 and AC Milan at 7/1. However he remains odds on 1/5 to stay at Manchester United post January.
The Hammers are also third favourites to sign Anthony Martial behind Sevilla 3/1 and PSG 14/1. Again he remains 2/9 odds on to stay at Manchester United.
Former Hammer Frank Lampard is 10/1 to rejoin West Ham with Crystal Palace 15/8, Brighton 2/1 and Chelsea 9/2.
West Ham are 8/1 favourites for Cesc Fabregas to join them with Roma 10/1 and AC Milan 14/1
Wayne Rooney is a 33/1 outside chance to join West Ham while he remains a 1/10 odds on favourite to stay at Manchester United.
West Ham are odds of 8/1 to sign Yaya Toure with Inter Milan 5/1 and Arsenal/PSG at 9/2all
Funniest one ever there,Wayne Rooney 33/1.That’s tickled me anyway.
Do they realise he hates us,and the feeling is mutual. Some only go to the Manure at home to give Big fat Wayne abuse. He would rather play for City. COYI
Of those Fabregas and Martial please and if Yaya wants a pay drop he can come also.
Fabregas is a great player but a despicable cheat. Crafty spiteful petulant and a bottle job. No thanks!
Yeah right …..to them all, except Sturridge.
Dream on ….. can not see our owners spending any money so only possible if loan possible and it will not be for any of these.
NO NO NO. TO DEFOE.
Good player but much too late.
Should have happened a couple of seasons ago.
