Only 7,000 tickets left for Thursday

£10West Ham have sold 28,000 tickets for Thursday’s UEFA Europa League second qualifying round first leg against Birkirkara, and the Hammers fully expect the Boleyn Ground to sell out all 35,000 by kick off at 7.45pm on Thursday evening.

The West Ham box office website and phone lines have been busy since the tickets went on general sale on Sunday.Tickets are priced at £10 for Adults and £5 for Kids.

Ticket will rise to £20 for Adults and £10 for kids on the gate if there are any tickets left that is.

A West Ham insider told Claret and Hugh this evening ‘At the current rate of sale, yes it looking like a sell out, even if it is on the match day itself, such incredible support – no other club would do that at such early stages of this tournament”

Slaven Bilic is expected to take full charge of Thursday’s game and field a much stronger opposition than the first round legs against FC Lusitans. West Ham have been allocated 3,000 tickets priced at £32 each for the second leg in the Maltese National Stadium which holds 18,000.
