Paqueta tweet makes West Ham his family affair

Lucas Paqueta will have thrilled all Hammers fans with a tweet posted  the brilliant Brazilian has posted.

The midfielder is showing the form which saw us stump up a record fee for a player who has the flick and tricks of a real magician.

He has also shown himself capable of scoring goals of quality and as he develops into the League gives us great hope that Declan’s departure may not be felt TOO badly.

We fought off interest from Arsenal to bring him to the east end and he is now speaking in the most glowing terms of his new “family.”

Despite injuries and a slow start to his Premier League campaign cream always rises to the top and this player is showing us what he is all about.

And his tweet with shows him holding hands with the kids is something which we can have us  all believe  – despite the rumours – that he intends to stay.

A terrific signing and once he has a player in midfield with similar attributes to replace Soucek we will be in a terrific place. We have a player called Fornals, some of you fans might remember him if you are old enough, he could do that job, a great job alongside Paqueta in midfield, his natural position. But unfortunately the clown in charge of us does not see that, why, the simple answer is because he is a negative manager who sets his team up that way. Another reason Moyes needs to go. He will go out and spend money on players like Phillip’s and Ward Prowse just not the players to put us on the front foot. Just cannot wait for the club to get rid of him and again for me it has all been his own doing. If the club want us to get the absolute best out of players like Scamacca, Fornals, Paqueta, Cornet he has to be sacked. I would like to think he has the common sense to walk away, his negative approach, awful football, how he treats players differently etc are just not acceptable in this day and age.

Great to see him performing his tricks when they come off. I’m sure if he he did them a bit further up the pitch he has enough speed to get a shot off. He’ll be adding a European medal to his trophy collection- not bad in 12 months. He’ll be a key player in WH’s bid for a top 6 place next season. But please no more penalties. Leave them to Benny.

I’m not sure about him. The way he was nutmegged by his kid is very worrying IMHO! 🫣
