Pardew set for another Hammers raid

|

Alan_Pardewctrue-faithdotcodotukCrystal Palace are reported this morning of having joined the chase of Diafra Sakho.

And with interest out there from Sunderland, West Brom and Swansea the Irons are hoping the price will be pushed beyond the £15 million minimum price tag they have on the player.

Palace boss Alan Pardew is taking a keen look at the unsettled Hammers front man after cooling on Liverpool’ Christian Benteke at more than double the price.

West Brom boss Tony Pulis remains keen and we understand that Swansea have now added him to their shopping list along with Enner Valencia whom they have also inquired about.

Sunderland’s interest in Sakho remains on hold whilst the FA talks to Black Cats manager Sam Allardyce is nvolved in talks with England.

West Ham say they will not allow Sakho, who has scored 15 goals in 43 appearances, to depart unless they have brought in his replacement.

And David Sullivan told ClaretandHugh yesterday that he had a personal pledge from the player he would be available for the start of the season should he be required.

    All sakho issues apart ?
I watched the game yesterday and can say without any shadow of a doubt , the strikers we had on show can’t touch him !! Not even near him for his work rate !!
Soon to be someone else’s Jewell ,
What a terrible shame and loss .
Get yedder and Eder , built for west ham . Full of running and score goals !
With carol and celleri , sorted .

I’m with you there on Yedder, johnboy, big time…Shame we missed out on Dominic Janssen to effing Spurs; he looked the business, and cheap!…
Eder + Celleri I don’t know much about yet. Certainly don’t want Bacca; seems like an arrogant sh1te to me; far more to lose than gain as far as I can see…I like cheap hungry bargains…Antonio has become my fav WHU player; yes; above Payet!
Have you calmed down, now mate? !!

Ha ha , yes , took a chill pill lol.
I love what sully has done for the club but he made a right mess concerning sakho .
Peace and good will to all !
Eder is much like yedder . A right hand full .
But I think sully wants to spend the dosh on bacca given the chance ,
Not for me that one , we could get the two mentioned for the same money with change.
A no brainer for me ,

With you 100% mate…Got any of those pills spare??!
I think DS has believed he could walk on water after being so successful before, so this year has been a wake up call (although some successes; Feghouli looks a handful etc). DS needs to ‘Button it’. What doesn’t make sense is why DS wants to spend way OTT for Bacca, yet not build up Sak’s wages…Hey Ho…spilt milk etc

It was a causeway in early tide , the only players we have bought is lanzini and Martinez ?£10.5 mill in total.
The rest are all free’s and loans ,

Swap Sak for Bolaise or go away,
If Calleri joins what we already have we are already sorted and don’t need anyone else,
Great Squad great potential and they all know how to play together,
Let’s have a truce with our 2 Forwards maybe put them on a bonus system for goal delivered,
Sak could get 20 a season if he stays fit

The word is “could”, Bubs, is like elephants could fly if they had wings! His attiude and weird head ‘stuff’ stink. I want him out, and till then, well away from the 1st team…(IMO)
Still, where I WILL give him credit; if he does go, I bet he’ll be on £60-80 per week. So if his attitude stinks, it will have been partly (and ONLY partly) of DS’s making by not giving him a decent raise in the 1st place. Not easy for DS, as he doesn’t want to start an avalanche of pay rises..
It would be a dream to swap Sak for Bolasie….imagine our wingplay then!!…Mouthwatering! But maybe I’m looking for those flying elephants again!

bubs I generally feel that I agree with you on the most part but no no no to a Bolaise Sakho swap. The former doesn’t score… Yedder would be a good alternative ….

Not going to happen bubs , in an ideal plus for the club sakho to stay but its all gone pear shaped lol. To cave in would send the wrong message , its a sad state of affairs ,
But Valencia spent most of the time on his bum again , he is far to lightweight for the prem .
I backed sakho to the hilt before he refused to travel and took a lot of stick for it from some ,
But he crossed the line , only time will tell now !
