Pelle sends fans his Christmas message

|

Christmas time but it seems ridiculous that it’s crept up on so quickly after that long balmy summer.

However, not too many will be disappointed by what they have seen so far from the Irons.

Ok we won’t mention the beginning again but to be sitting on 24 points with so many injuries is one heck of an achievement.

And the manager has obviously got a tighter and tighter grip on things but has finally taken time to relax and send his Christmas message to the fans.

There’s nothing flash or flamboyant about it – just typical Pelle with the fans clearly very much on his heart after the ups and downs of the season so far.

There will be few celebrations among the lads and his backroom team as he settles down to plot Southampton’s downfall on Thursday and it’s very clear he is hoping to give us a dramatic second half of the campaign.

In his special message he says: “I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I wish you a great time with your family at home.

For the moment, we need to continue working the same way we are doing so far all together, fans and the team to try and finish a very good season. You deserve it.”
