Police advice ahead of Hawthorns clash

PoliceWest Midlands Police have posted advice to West Ham Supporters on social media ahead of West Ham’s match with West Brom on Saturday afternoon.  The Force’s Football Unit have posted advice for those travelling and attending the match.

“West Bromwich Albion v West Ham, 25,000  are expected with West Ham having sold their full allocation of 2,700, have a good day.”

“Coaches and minibuses can park for free in Middlemore Road, plenty of car parks along Birmingham Road for private vehicles”

“If your travelling by train to the the match it is best to drink in Birmingham town centre and then on the Heavy rail or Metro to the Hawthorns stadium”

“If your going for a drink near the ground away supporters are welcome at the Royal Oak Holyhead Rd ,which is the nearest pub to the ground.”

“You can also get a drink at the Fan Zone or inside the stadium ,have a safe journey and see you there.”
