Poll result: How good, average or poor was Sanchez?

|

Carlos Sanchez is making small steps towards a wider acceptance among the Hammers faithful.

The Colombian midfielder, laid off all last season following injury, has been getting a bad rap from across the fan base since his arrival.

Much can be traced back to the mistake which gifting Wolves a win  at home last season and he continued to get  criticism across the forums during pre-season.

However, he appeared to give a much better display against Newport on Tuesday evening and was only a few votes of short of getting “a good performance” display in ClaretandHugh’s latest poll.

We simply asked if you thought he was good, average or poor with only a small minority giving a firm thumbs down.

In total 1399 votes have been cast so far with 46.53 per cent describing his performance as average, 33.96.

  • Mikey says:

How about getting behind the team and players, rather than running destructive polls that target individuals? What purpose does this serve, other to undermine a player’s confidence? Everyone knows Hugh does not rate Sanchez. Ok, great, but don’t run polls designed to isolate individuals. Thought you had more class than this.

    • Actually I do like Sanchez very much but I don’t like false assumptions from people or being told what polls we should or shouldn’t run. The poll was actually run AFTER his first really decent game to give him a boost. You of course don’t mind trying to destroy my purposes – move on pal and try to get it. It’s called earning class!
