Pre-season Spanish return for Pellegrini?

|

West Ham are still considering their pre-season plans with suggestions that they may set up a training camp in Malaga.

Nothing has been finalised at this stage with plans for a Swiss camp also possibly on the agenda but a return to Manuel Pellegrini’s old club hasn’t been ruled out.

And were that to become finalised it would almost certainly include a game against the manager’s former club which would draw a bumper crowd with the locals keen to see the former boss.

The Hammers however insist that their plans will be revealed at a later stage as they continue their activities in targeting players for the new season.

So far they have identified Swansea goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski and  defender Alfie Mawson plus an unnamed midfielder besides Felipe Anderson.

In the meantime they have received no inquiries for any of the players they are ready to allow leaving the club which include Sam Byram and Jordan Hugill.
