BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson predicts a 2-1 defeat for the Hammers against Liverpool this Sunday.
Lawro told his BBC website readers: “I know Liverpool went out of the FA Cup against Manchester United last weekend but I saw some signs of improvement from them, especially in attack, and there was more of the same in Thursday’s win over Tottenham.
This is a tough test for Jurgen Klopp’s side, but it is the sort of game they will win if they maintain their current form.”
ITK EXWHUEmployee predicts a 1-1 draw saying “I think they have real problems at centre back so could be exploited but are always dangerous on the attack. I can also see them getting some controversial decision go in their favour too!”
LBC presenter and WesHamTillIDie.com editor Iain Dale also predicts 1-1 adding “Because I daren’t go further.”
West Ham Till I DIe blogger David Hauzig predicts a 3-2 loss saying “Liverpool need to show they are still big dogs, but we are not going to roll over.”
Stellios from Irons United Youtube channel predicts a 3-2 win saying “Liverpool’s defence isn’t the best right now. West Ham are creating chances for fun. We have nothing to fear and will nick this”
Canning Town Len predicts a 2-1 loss adding “We’ve had a fantastic run of wins, but Liverpool must find a way to do the same to prove they are title contenders and West Ham aren’t.”
Claret and Hugh Associate editor Sean Whetstone remains optimistic with a 1-0 win for the Hammers saying “You never know which Liverpool are going to turn up, I am hoping it is the side that lost 1-0 to Burnley last Thursday”
Moyes has made us hard to break down and we are fially playing like a team rather than a group of individuals. Soucek can score against anyone. Liverpool are defensively vulnerable but fantastic in attack. This really could be win, lose or draw, but I’m backing our boys to beat ‘pool 2-1. The team spirit is tangible now we haven’t got grumpy’s like Haller and Arnie.
I think west ham United can beat Liverpool and there’s no reason to think otherwise . They got extremely lucky on various occasions where we should have won or at least drawn . We are are a different prospect now . Liverpool should be nervous going into this game against a very good west ham side. 2006 is still ringing in my ear and the sadness of that day will never leave my memory . It was our Cup untill Gerard got that immensely lucky strike .
So now I believe it’s our turn to be lucky .
