Pundit gives prediction for Spurs away

|

BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson predicts a tight 2-1 loss on Saturday lunchtime for Spurs v West Ham

Lawro tells his BBC website readers: “Tottenham left it very late against Brighton on Tuesday but that win – and other results for the teams just below them – has put them in a strong position to finish in the top four. There is still work for them to do, though. Like Liverpool, Mauricio Pochettino’s side also have a Champions League semi-final to think about – against Ajax on Tuesday – but they have to pick a strong line-up here.

West Ham carry a threat but they are very inconsistent, and I think Spurs will get the three points they need.”

Bookies make Spurs the odds on 2/5 favourites for the win with a draw at 9/2 and a West Ham win at 13/2.

A 1-0 West Ham win is 25/1 with 2-0 at 50/1, a Hammers 2-1 win is 20/1

Claret and Hugh prediction: Hard to know which West Ham team will turn up on Saturday, with a Spurs weakened team and their minds on the Champions League Semi Final days away it is possible we could do one over on them in their new stadium. My heart predicts a 2-1 win even though my head predicts a 2-0 loss.

Let’s go for it boys, and be the first team to win in the cocky fools new stadium, just as we were at the Gooners Emirates. COYI
