Ratings 2…and only one man of match!

|

C and H ratings regular  Niall MDonald hands out his marks

Fabianski: Couple of regulation saves. Didn’t look 100% comfortable dealing with a number of back passes 6
Zabaleta: Another high-quality performance at the back 7
Diop: Several crucial challenges and interventions 7
Ogbonna: Pretty solid display from Angelo today, only a few nervy moments 6
Cresswell: When Anderson plays as well as today, Cresswell has the left-side is tied down pretty effectively 7
Rice: Bailed Ogbonna and Cresswell out in the first 9 minutes. Gave quite brilliant display capped with his first, and winning, goal 10
Noble: A typically committed London Derby performance from the skipper 7
Nasri: Impressive; despite a long absence he looked to have the pace of the game from the start. An excellent signing on this evidence 8
Antonio: Couple of long-distance driving runs in an otherwise solid performance 7
Anderson: Creativity AND application. Really put a shift in 8
Arnautovic: Happy to play or made to play? Either way, if this was his farewell it wasn’t one to live long in the memory 5

Subs
Snodgrass: An excellent option off the bench. Plenty of energy, and pulled Arsenal defenders around well 6
Carroll: Dare I say, starting to look a bit more like his old self? Some excellent hold-up play 6
Obiang: Bolstered the midfield late on 4

Antonio nowhere near a 7 for me. 5 at best. Snodgrass should have started IMO. Sorry to say I think Arnie’s head has gone. If he was going to Man U or Man C, I could maybe understand, but him and his toxic brother want to ‘win things’ by going to CHINA!!!! Yeah right….nothing to do with the money then. Again if he was 32 I could again maybe understand the retirement trade, but he’s 29 ffs!!!

Great to see Declan do so well, and then just go to the pub with his brother! Noble looked good, The Boss seems to be getting the best of him, but talk about one players getting back to form, not sure if you went to the same game as I did! he was shocking once more, his kicking back & to the GK each time around me our hearts were in our mouths, he is a pure disaster! even friends in our area who loved him now see he has nothing to offer at all.

All due respect but stuff Arnie. If he wants out get him out keep the dressing room happy. He’s been moody since Anderson came to form. He hates the fact that someone is at very least as good if not better than him.

Spoilt bratty, poisonous brother, get rid. Thanks for the goals but bye.
