Redknapp’s back tonight – so turn volume down

|

It would be wrong to say I have too much against Harry Redknapp but I’ve heard a bit too much of that advert where he’s “burnt the crumpets” and heard of a horse “that’s been burning up the gallops” to be looking forward to hearing too much from him tonight.

Amazon are the latest mob to pick up his services – presumably as a pundit – when they screen the Irons v Palace match from the London Stadium.

To be fair H has always been the most approachable of blokes but over the last few years – with his managerial career behind him – he’s been turning up here, there and everywhere when presumably a few bob has been on offer.

He became King of the Jungle of course (HUGE SIGH) and those nasal tones on the latest advert frankly drive me absolutely potty.

Sorry, Harry  – and thanks for all the help when you were manager of this great club – but I fear the volume button will be used a fair old bit tonight!

Could have been worse Hugh. Might have been Piers Morgan or, much worse, Garth Crooks. Let’s just count our blessings. XX

Gets alot of stick does h and only through two things imo. One being supposedly shafting the great bonzo as it was his best friend then also playing Frank junior when even his form at west ham wasn’t that good and still learning his trade because his family . Always nice to chat too and does alot of charity work that doesn’t get mentioned although very rich now still hasn’t lost that working class background and remembers where he came from . Let’s remember we all wouldn’t turn down easy cash to be got from stupid adverts

Don’t think this is at all necessary tbh. Lazy, unrequired, pointless article. I’d expect something like this from a juvenile/young or anti WH writer. It really spanks of twisted jealousy in relation to HR’s fame & fortune. If you don’t like someone, fine, but probably wiser to keep it to yourself! Makes you look just bitter! No footballing comment or intelligent discussion to be seen here…Move along…Move along!
