Sky Sports News say West Ham will entertain bids in excess of £10 million for West Ham youngster Reece Oxford rather than face picking up compensation in a year and a half’s time after his alleged refusal to agree to a new contract. Oxford has 18 months left on a two-year contract he signed in December on his 17th birthday but the club are keen to tie him down to a long term deal on his 18th birthday this December.
Last week ,Claret and Hugh revealed The Hammers and representatives of Reece Oxford have yet to reach agreement. Reece is thought to earn £7,000 per week on his current deal but his representatives are said to want a significant increase on that deal in return for agreeing to commit his long-term future to the Hammers.
Reece Oxford has taken to twitter himself to play down the reports by saying “Wow rumours will be rumours !😂😴”

I tend to ignore all the summer rumours Billy,lets wait & see what the situation is in reality.Problem is he has been hyped up from his ear’oles to his ars*hole by some of our own fans based on one match at Arsenal.You have fans crying out for him to be in the first team based on f*ck all really or because they think he should be kept happy.Its a load of bolloxs IMO 😉
Reece Burke will be just as good if not better
