Reknapp reckons it will “click” for Pellegrini

|

Jamie Redknapp is not among those who believe the game is up for West Ham and Manuel Pellegrini.

Despite questioning Marko Arnautovic’s attitude on the pitch – suggesting he may be playing for himself rather than the team – the pundit believes things will turn around for the team.

But they are going to have to work a lot harder as he explains in his Daily Mail column that the team has run 65.6 miles per match. Only Manchester United (65.1 miles) and Cardiff (62.5 miles) have covered less ground.

However, he says: “I do think it will click for Pellegrini and he will benefit from having the international break to work with his squad.

But above all, the players must start to take some responsibility on the pitch. They deserved the chorus of boos as they left the field on Saturday.

The best way to win over the West Ham faithful is to work hard, chase lost causes and give their all. Do that and results will come.”

Cheeky so an so , Redknapp telling us fans how to support our team . We are all life long fans and we know what we want without the likes of an over paid chairwarmer telling us what we want . The very cheek of it . Having played in a very successful couple of clubs it comes easy to say those things . Has far too much to say for himself . It’s not as if he was any great shakes as a player anyway . Now his Dad ,,, that’s another matter . Harry was one of the original greats to have donned the Claret & Blue . Those who are old enough will know what I mean ! . Neither West Ham United or the fans need his advice , thanks very much . Just another annoying Pundit . Why not a real job Managing instead of trying to sound smart talking about things everybody at West Ham already know from birth .

Distance run stats are a small indicator but mean nothing really in the scheme of things. Mark Noble often tops the stats for distance run. He does a lot of running in fact for someone accused of having no legs. Besides the point though perhaps relevant because he wasn’t playing against wolves. In any case, anyone can run around for the whole game but It’s what they do with the ball that counts. I actually think we could have as easily won the game against wolves as we did lose it. If arnies shot goes anywhere apart from the goalies face it’s a goal and we win the game in my opinion. It’s early days. I’m still hoping things start to click soon and we go on a run. Yes I guess I’m from the Fortunes always hiding school of thinking.
