Report: Arsenal move for Anderson

|

A fresh Daily Mirror report claims that Felipe Anderson has been offered to Arsenal in a £5million loan deal.

The tabloid adds that it is believed that the 27 year-old Brazilian midfielder would be keen on a move away from West Ham adding that he is believed to earn £140,000 per week with the Hammers.

The claims are not new and appear to be recycled for a few weeks ago when a similar claim was made

At that time a top Claret and Hugh insider told us by email: “We’ve heard the rumours regarding Anderson and Arsenal but we can assure you there has been no contact between the two clubs whatsoever.”

We think the latest report should be treated with a high degree of caution will one club insider telling us they are unaware of any recent development regarding Anderson and the Gooners.

Anderson joined the Hammers in July 2018 from Lazio for a reported transfer fee of £34m as Manuel Pellegrini’s marquee signing.

Please let it be so. Please.

This is total miss management AGAIN . Does anyone believe that the Benrahmi ? guy from Brentford is anywhere near as good as Anderson . He was awful in the play off games and showed little effort or willingness to defend . Play Anderson in correct position and give him the ball instead of sticking him out on the wing . Yes it would mean getting rid of Noble as Anderson needs quick accurate balls but that applies to anyone who plays .or is purchased … should i say comes in on free transfer …

    It’s a shame this didn’t happen sooner,if true.We wouldn’t have needed to sell Diangana.

Another piece of smart business from our intrepid owners. Allowing Diangana to move to WBA for peanuts on top of the Ngakia fiasco. How much worse can it get?
Moyes is trying to improve the squad with one arm tied behind his back.
Thankfully we didn’t bring in Shane Duffy. We’re better than that. But, so far we’ve been linked with everyone with pulse by the media and with the season a few weeks away things are getting desperate.
Rice and Diop are crocked and Soucek is hibernating due to a Covid scare.
Welcome to the new season fellow Irons. Bring out your brown trousers – again. COYI.

There hasn’t been any bid, this now recycled story came about when Lazio and Roma turned Anderson down for a transfer and a weird link came up that Arsenal were looking at him, as the report says according to the club sources there has been no offer…
