Club Brugge midfielder Hans Vanaken is ‘a lot more open’ to a move away from the club this summer, than previously.
He believes he is ‘no longer appreciated at the club’ and looks very much as though he will be open to offers.
After the Hammers reportedly missed out on signing him last year he may fiond a chance this time around of coming to the London Stadium.
Apparently him and his wife were ‘charmed’ at the idea of a move to London, but ended up staying in Belgium as Brugge ‘managed to convince’ the player to stick around with a new ‘thick’ contract.
It was claimed that the midfielder would have been a dream signing for David Moyes last year.
It remains to be seen if the same level of enthusiasm is maintained by the manager but there clearly seems to be a chance of getting him in the new circumstances.
