Report: Hammer buys new house, exit considered

|

West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell has bought a house in Merseyside as his future at the club remains up in the air, per The Sun.

The 32-year-old’s contract is up in 2023 and the report claims that he has bought a new property near Liverpool ahead of a potential switch.

It is not mentioned if there is interest from rival clubs, but he wants to set up base around where he grew up as he approaches the later years of his career.

Of course, it is very unlikely that Liverpool would show an interest in buying Cresswell, while Everton could yet be relegated to the Championship.

Cresswell began his playing career with Tranmere and was born in Liverpool.

The report claims that he is well aware he will eventually head north, and he is likely to do so before he hangs up his boots.

Still, Cresswell is said to be happy to stay at West Ham for the foreseeable future, and is still hoping for a new contract.
