Report: Hammers back in for summer target

|

West Ham are back in for summer target Jakub Kiwior, according to a new report in Italy.

The Hammers were linked with a swoop to sign the defender from Spezia in the summer and were reported to have made a bid worth €12m, which equates to £10.4m.

The Serie A side were said to be open to a deal, but on the condition that Kiwior returned to them on loan for the rest of the season.

That didn’t work for the Hammers and there are new reports from Calciomercato that the Irons could reignite their bid in January, although they aren’t the only club interested.

AC Milan are said to be keeping an eye on his situation, along with fellow Italian giants Juventus, Inter Milan, and AS Roma.

That interest means that his price tag has increased significantly and it remains to be seen if the Irons will be willing to make a formal bid after strengthening the defence in the summer.
