They claim that Barca are understood to be open to sending him back out on loan or doing a permanent deal if the right price can be negotiated.
The Irons are this morning reported to be trailing Barcelona right back Moussa Wague with Jeremy Ngakia looking virtually certain to leave the club.
However, the story being run in the Daily Star is again looking like one of those linked to a past passing interest rather than a realistic assessment of where David Moyes is in his thinking.
Ngakia was described to us this morning as looking 90 per cent certain to leave the club at the end of June whilst at the same time being revealed as having been likely to remain in the team when the season resumes.
That would have put him ahead of Ryan Fredericks who has recovered from injury, which is an indication of how highly the 19 year old had become rated.
The club are continuing to talk with him and his representatives but sadly unless he performs an extraordinary U-turn the chances of him remaining at the Hammers is remote.
In the meantime the Daily Star reports that “Moyes first inquired about Senegal international Wague in January” but he moved on loan to French club Nice instead.
Clubs need to stop giving this young greedy the chance let him go I call this guys disloyal an they need to be the agent there self
Two words reo cocker. Let him go and disappear into some other teams reserves. Clearly has a terrible work ethic
He’s obviously been tapped up, and a greedy agent wanting to wreck the academy to first team squad protocols.
