Report: Hammers eye new strike target

|

mandzukicWest Ham have targeted Juventus star Mario Mandzukc as a winter signing according to The Sun.

The  report claims Hammers scouts watched the 30 year old when he played for  Croatia in the friendly with Northern Ireland during the international break.
Bilic has worked with the player and is reportedly keen to be reunited with him.

Bilic is looking to bolster his attack and will allow Simone Zaza to leave after struggling to settle in the Premier League.

The fact that Zaza is also a Juve player may make dealing overMandzukc easier than in any other circumstances.

The player has two-and-a-half years left on his Juve deal and could cost £18million to prise him away from the Serie A giants.

Unbelievable. He’s 30years old. Bilic needs to get his act together.

For crying out loud . Surely West Ham are not serious . Bilic and West Ham are digging Thier own graves with this one . Would be better to give Zaza a few more games . He came close against Spurs and just missed that sharpness and understanding the setup .
Personally I think , Zaza can come good . I say keep him and get him more involved .
Saw flashes of what he can do and he is quick . He needs game time .

I’m sorry Kevin but I can not see what you can in Zaza – All I can see is a very slow player in all respects and to think he is supposed to be worth 17M is a Joke ( 17 MILLION ??) , we have given him enough rope to hang the whole team and he will if he continues , I for one will be very happy to see the last of him in a West Ham shirt ! – As soon as he came on in the last match my heart sank – Fletcher is the player we should be trying to encourage until we buy again and I fail to understand why he did not come on in the last game , and I know I’m not alone in that thought !!

It’s “reported” by The Sun…so lets just calm down, eh?

But every manager we’ve had in my years of going to West Ham has made massive mistakes with strikers…Radford…David Kelly…Lee Chapman…Marco Boogers…oh I could go on…so it’s hardly exclusive to Bilic or the current regime.
