Report: Hammers in pole position to land Daka

|

West Ham reported transfer target Patson Daka has confirmed that he will be joining a European club this summer with a number of media outlets in his home nation of Zambia stating that Daka told them it’s West Ham.

Yesterday, one report from the UK claimed David Moyes has informed the West Ham owners that his main target for a striker is Red bulls Patson Daka claiming that David Sullivan had spoken to the player’s entourage and personal terms won’t be an issue.

Spanish press disagree with Marca suggesting he is on the verge of joining Liverpool instead.

Zambian SurMerco news who spoke to Daka said West Ham were the favourites and to a lesser extent Liverpool and Sevilla.

One clue allegedly quoted by those close to him was “There is a new club who has managed to change Patson’s mind. English top 6 club”

Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal have all been linked in the hunt to sign Austrian Bundesliga top scorer.

Daka racked up a stunning 34 goals and 12 assists in 42 games for RB Salzburg and is said to be available for a transfer fee of around £25m.

I hope it’s true but if Liverpool are in for him and he fits their style, aggressive and quick then might be tough to get a deal done.

There’s always game time.. one thing West Ham are more likely to offer a potential striker than any other club. Unless Kane leaves the spurs…
