West Ham and Palace are being reported in Spain as being ready to move in on United States international Sergino Dest.

The 22 year old defender is expected to leave Barcelona this summer having made the switch to the Camp Nou from Ajax in 2020.

However, he failed to cement his spot in the starting XI and as a result, was allowed to join AC Milan on loan this term.

Now, according to SportWest Ham and Crystal Palace are both showing an interest in the defender ahead of a potential summer approach, while Bundesliga outfit Union Berlin are also allegedly interested.

Barcelona are believed ready to accept a bid in the region of  €12m (approx. £11m) for the player which would be less than the €21m (approx. £18.5m) fee they paid for him in 2020.

Dest was considered as one of the most exciting young players in Europe after shining with Ajax early in his career – making 38 appearances overall, scoring two goals and making six assists.
