According to a report by Italian Journolist Gianlucadimarzio.com The Hammers have shown in interest in signing Seko Fofana from Udinese.
It has been reported that the Italian club value the 24-year-old Ivory Coast international at €20 million (£16.85 million).
Fofana joined the Udinese from Manchester city in 2016. The Ivory Coast international midfielder has made 11 starts and four substitute appearances in Serie A for Udinese so far this season, scoring one goal and making four assists.
The midfielder failed to break into the Manchester City first team after spending three years there, but he did have a loan spell at Fulham in 2014-15 when he made 13 starts and eight substitute appearances in the Championship, scoring one goal.
The is reported to be very versatile, capable of playing as a deep-lying midfielder as well as a box-to-box player.
German side Schalke 04 and Turkish giants Galatasaray are also said to be closely watching the ex-Manchester City man.
Why would a team who desperately need new players in a transfer window leave it to the last day of buisness to then try to rush through deals that they have no hope of completing. This is no way to run a football club, this behaviour just causes everyone to feel hopeless and helpless.True supporters would not put this club through this debacle.

If we do not get some players sorted soon we are going to be a championship team with no good players as they will all leave and or not play as we expect, I am really not surprised, we are disgraceful as a team right now, so what the ???? are we playing at, so disappointed.
We need a STRIKER more.
Hammerstone…. We have plenty of time, don’t worry, everything under control😂😂😂
We need 6 more miracles to stay up…. Cannot see it happening with this bunch of losers…
Which player is next to spin us a yarn on how unacceptable this performance was… v Baggies. 😳👀😱 Saw more pace and potential in the QPR side that lost lost night than our buch of “pedestrians”
I wish we would stop being ‘linked’ with players that we’re never going to get. We have Poundland owners with Harrods ambitions. They need to realise that they don’t have the right sized pockets for the big boys league and sell to someone that has. All they are interested about is staying in the Prem and are happy to be at the bottom end of it as long as they get the tv money.
We should be looking at signing young players that are premiership ready like Oviemuno Dominic Ejaria from Liverpool on loan at reading , more than capable, and probably viable
