According to Sky Sports man, Kaveh Solhekol Eintracht Frankfurt are in talks to sign Reece Oxford from West Ham and are ready to pay up to £8m to land the 20–year-old defender.
Oxford has made no secret that he wants to leave West Ham and hopes the club will allow it to happen. The youngster was believed desperate to return to Germany and Borrusia Monchengladbach but so far there have been no inquiries from the Bundesliga outfit with whom he was on loan last season.
Late last year the Under 23 skipper has now spoken out for the first time on his current situation declaring that “I hope West Ham would look kindly on my situation and let me go.”
Oxford has not found a first-team place under Manuel Pellegrini who is likely to sanction any decent offer for the player.
The defender is contracted with West Ham until June 2021 on a weekly wage thought to top £20,000 per week.
How on gods earth isnt he getting a look in here!! Seems as if all the young players in England are jogging to Germany just to play …i dont blame them either ..lol ….And he’s on 20 bags per week, …..what’s happening !!
Wow….Your either good enough or you aren’t …i dont care about his attitude because all great athletes have attitude..and that attiude is what makes them…he knows his worth play him or sell …lets not waste anymore time….
Oxford must be terrible if he can’t get a cup game ahead of Masuaku, Ogbonna, Obiang, Carroll, Hernandez or Perez. Crying shame, but just sell him and let’s move on.
And take Valencia’s offer for Hernandez and ask if they want AC or Masuaku as a buy one get one free, then there’d be no chance for MP being able to pick them again …
I was a bit harsh on Perez – I don’t think he was too bad last night. All 3 subs did OK. I actually thought Hernandez went off at half time, such was his influence …
Me too – couldn’t see him anywhere 🙁
Dont tell me Oxford wouldn’t have wanted to play for West Ham if he’d been given a chance. Unfortunately we have to pay the wages of foreign mercenaries who don’t
Get shot with a huge sell on percent in case he ever comes good
