According to Jacob Steinberg the Guardian, West Ham are interested in the Swans defender Joe Rodon after failing with bids for the Clarets defender James Tarkowski.
Swans centre back Rodon is much younger than Tarkowski, at 22-years-old giving possible resale value.
Rodon impressed in the Championship last season, helping them reach the play-offs. The Welsh club does not want to sell one of its star players, but if a big enough offer came in, it would be hard to stand in the way.
The young Welshman would be open to a move to the Premier League as he would receive a big pay increase.
The report by Steinberg seems to have some legs with a source close to the player telling ClaretandHugh this evening that the player was contacted by the Hammers two weeks ago.
Swansea would not entertain offers under £30m and that valuation could scupper a potential deal for the Welsh defender.
Sky also reporting that we have a bid up to 33m in for Wesley Fofana. 19 year old centre back at St Etienne.
Yeah Fofana has been getting rave reviews, not personally seen him but seems more likely than Rodon, will have to wait and see, imagine we will end up with Moyes being bullied into Sullivan’s punts …
Why Don’t you just go for ruguini from juventus played very good experience, cheaper option, whu are getting linked with every player and nobody is going to take them seriously
