Report: Irons eyeing Ukraine international

|

West Ham are eyeing a potential deal to sign Viktor Tsygankov in the January transfer window.

The 24-year-old is currently playing for Dynamo Kyiv and has been with the club since 2016.

Tsygankov has made 219 appearances for Dynamo, scoring 87 goals and laying on 60 assists from his position on the right wing. He has won 40 caps for Ukraine.

A new report from Jeunes Footeux claims that the Hammers are keeping a close eye on him, along with Wolves and Newcastle.

His contract expires at the end of the season, meaning that he may be a cheap option in January, while there is also the potential of signing him on a free transfer in the summer.

Bundesliga sides Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also said to be monitoring his development as he continues to develop.

The Irons could potentially do with bringing another winger into the squad, perhaps more so than Newcastle and Wolves, so a deal could well be done, although no fee is attached to the report.
