Report: King desperate to join Hammers

|

Talksport presenter Alex Crook has told radio listeners that David Moyes remains interested in signing striker Josh King heading into January, and the Bournemouth striker is desperate to join West Ham according to the journalist.

Crook explained the Hammers made an attempt to sign him in the summer – as is well known –  and saw  an offer of £13 million rejected.

He has since only managed to make seven league appearances for Jason Tindall’s side this season. And  is still awaiting his first Championship goal of the campaign.

Thee 28 year-old’s contract with AFC Bournemouth expires in the summer and he is refusing to sign a new contract so it makes sense for all parties if a January move is agreed although he may have other options.

David Moyes could presumably land the striker at a low cost as Bournemouth may accept a lower fee for a player who could go for nothing in a few months.

On loan only. He didn’t feature in Bournemouth’s loss to Brentford, a very important match. They do not value him, why should we?
