Report: Liverpool man linked

|

Liverpool’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been linked with a potential move to West Ham.

The Hammers appear to have come to a dead end in their pursuit of Jesse Lingard.

The attacking midfielder now looks poised to move to Nottingham Forest, who have made a lucrative offer to bring him to the City Ground.

And, as a result, a new report from West Ham Central claims that the Hammers have made an enquiry for Oxlade-Chamberlain.

He would cost around £10m, but one has to wonder if there is any sense to this deal at all.

He has struggled with injury throughout his career, suffering a number of serious issues, and has seen his playing time limited during his time at Anfield.

Oxlade-Chamberlain made just nine Premier League starts last season and his injury woes are highly likely to scupper any potential deal here.

The Irons are likely to be moving onto other targets but one has to think that the 28-year-old’s injury record precludes him from being on the list.

Not sure why this is so low on the radar, Bruce Forsyth had the Generation game, our recruitment department are playing the Desperation Game, odds should be higher that we get a crocked has been in.

I know you are just reporting what has been said but oxlaide Chamberlain is old news . We should stay well clear . My observation in Lingard , if he goes to Forest it’s for money not football . I question whether we should even want him if he wants just money . I would want to ask do we want a player who is greedy or a player that wants to work hard , be a team player and fight for our claret & Blue shirt . I know I prefer the latter but leave it up to the other fans on here to comment . We all have different views I am sure ⚒

Why are they dig up these stories every Season ? Yawn. Wouldn’t it be nice if the Board, or David Moyes said something like we are negotiating on x amount of deals and y are close to reaching a close. Instead of all the negative silence. There is no need to name , names just give us something positive to rely on.
