Twitter is alive with stories this afternoon that David Moyes is on his way to Newcastle.
Despite the Sunday Mirror claiming he’s set for a move to West Ham, ESPN @JacksonESPN claims the deal has been done to take him to Tyneside.
He tweeted: BREAKING: David Moyes set to be named Newcastle United manager in the next 24 hours. Will take over in the summer. More online soon.
At the same time as The Mirror was reporting that Moyes was for the Irons job, their sister paper The People claimed that Steve McClaren would be named Necastle boss within 24 hours.
Interesting times!
However to date nothing has appeared on line and it maybe that this is the work of another Twitter hoaxer.
