Rice and Fabianski fly out to Switerzland without Arnautovic

|

Declan Rice and Łukasz Fabianski will fly out to Switzerland this weekend to join up with Manuel Pellegrini and the first team squad without Marko Arnautovic.

Both players were involved in early summer International action so received an extra week off but are due to resume training on Monday morning at West Ham’s summer training camp in the Alps.

Marko Arnautovic was also due to fly out this weekend but will be on gardening leave which he attempts to negotiate personal terms with Chinese club Shanghai SPIG.

While the club could force him to join up with training camp they believe it is not worth the possible disruption and media circus that would follow him to Switerzland.

The Hammers have already agreed on a £22.5m transfer fee with China and he is understood to have passed a medical so all that is left is for him to agree his package with his new employers.

The Hammer of the season & young hammer love it!

Sean on Arnie have we agreed bc I’ve read we are holding out & SPIG could look elsewhere which would seem mad def wouldn’t be Pellegrini but thought he had 3 year deal agreed?
