Rio lets loose on Payet

|

riofRio Ferdinand has launched a stinging attack  on Dimi Payet slamming his decision to go on strike.

The former Hammers defender said: “I had problems at football clubs at various different times. At Man United I had problems with the club at various times with certain people, but it never entered my mind not to play. You owe it to the club and the fans.

“Especially where he came from [relative obscurity after three clubs in the previous four years] before he got to this club.

“They gave him the platform to play at the Euros, they gave him a platform for a new contract and to become a player that is known in the football world and you have to respect that.

“A lot of them would give their right arm to play for West Ham and would not understand how a player could say he would not play. They would do it without thinking.

“Who is advising him? He is a grown man and should understand it himself, but sometimes you are in a bubble and need good advisers and I question that.”

Glad he has agreed his new contract with his beloved club now I hope he suffers heart felt pain like so many young fans that thought he was a god,
We should have unloaded him after the euros and got £45 mil
But like most I thought we has a genuine stand up person
    How wrong can you be
If only we could find a job for £125 K per week that we hated just to train 25 hours a week kick a ball for 90 mins
