Romano confirms Moyes scenario

ITK Fabrizio Romano doesn’t usually state the self evident but in claiming there is little change in the situation surrounding David Moyes he is confirming what is widely known.

Romano confirms Moyes scenario

Claret and Hugh was told several days ago following the shocking defeat by Arsenal that talks had slowed on a new contract and that the jury is now very much out.

Now this morningĀ  – whilst expressing the scenario differently – the Italian transfer expert declares the situation to be fluid.

We have been told thatĀ  his future now could depend on the results of the next few games with Forest looking a tricky encounter on Saturday afternoon.

And the entire situation could have been made even more problematical for the club with Tim Steidten admitting he is honoured to be linked with Liverpool whilst remaining reasonably happy at West Ham.

That’s an odd and near contradictory choice of words and has one wondering who may have chosen to leak such a possible development in the first place given that the technical director has barely proven himself at West Ham despite making a decent start.

Indeed, a source within the club explained: “Alvarez and Kudus were good signings but it’s a case of how he develops from here that really matters. You can’t judge a man on his start!”

Right now the discussion is centred on who may leave first – the manager of technical director. If both were to decide enough was enough the situation would look either bleak or optimistic dependent very largely on one’s point of view!

The board really need to look at the stats and the lack of actual positive ones.
Also the money spent with a lot of loss. Almost zero youngsters brought through.
We need a new and positive direction.
