‘Sacking Bilic would be ridiculous’ if Irons beaten

|

Mark Lawrenson believes the Irons have some decent players but reckons they will be beaten by his former club Liverpool at the London Stadium on Saturday evening.

But in his predictions for the weekend’s games he makes it clear that if that happens, sacking the West Ham boss would be ridiculous.

He said: “West Ham have got some decent players but they are struggling for defenders this weekend. They need to get some defenders fit.

You look at Slaven Bilic’s squad and think they should be in that middle group in the Premier League and should be comfortable.

Liverpool have played a couple of games since they lost 4-1 at Spurs and Klopp has been clever by playing nearly the same team. He did that to tell his players: ‘prove I am not wrong and show you are decent players.’

We know they have defensive issues but it is very rare you make so many poor decisions in a game that costs you so many goals like they did at Wembley. Tottenham didn’t really have to create the goals.

Liverpool won comfortably at the London Stadium at the end of last season and I think they will win again. But I hope it doesn’t mean Bilic will lose his job – because that would be ridiculous.”

Lawro’s prediction: 0-2

Whatever Lawrenson says I usually go for the opposite, so hopefully we will win and Bilic will still be replaced which may sound odd but no odder than Lawrenson’s statement, (even though I don’t think Bilic will be sacked anytime soon).

Lawrenson what a plum! Let’s see what his view would be if he had Super Slav in charge of his beloved Liverpool. We could easily beat Liverpool, don’t rate them unfortunately we have Bilic in charge so that is highly doubtful as klopp will easily outmanage him.

Another failed manager . The same old refrain. You are poor but don’t change the Manager. Pathetic.

Yes blabber not even about Liverpool game now it’s about the past 30 & past 10. Win lose or nick a point. Bilic still has to go for me. Intl break best time to do it.
Bilic himself seems as he has given upnsome of the stuff he has said.
It’s just time already… Ranieri Koeman Shakespseare even Mou etc lost their jobs a quicker.
Bilic has had his time know we just need to move on for everyone’s sake

Since there is an irrational insistence that Bilic is a West Ham LEGEND, why doesn’t he toddle off to Everton, where he must be even more so.

Bilic played for us 49 times, during a 14 month period; for Everton, 28 times during a 23 month stay.

Calling HIM a legend (or, indeed God’s gift to coaching, tactics or prima donna-management!), is an absolute insult to the likes of Moore, Hurst, Bonds, Brooking et al.

Lawrenson invariably speaks cobblers, as a pundit he is useless!

Everyone knows Bilic is a dead-man walking and that he is only still in a job because there doesn’t seem to be a credible alternative. Sooner or later the Dave’s have got to bite the bullet and put poor old Slav out of his misery!

I suppose you have to look at who’s currently out of work and has Premiership experience – ruling out Allardyce for obvious reasons. I don’t know – Moyes, Pardew, Redknapp as a Caretaker, etc etc.
