Sakho exit rumour confirmed

|

SakhoDiafra Sakho is currently in France attempting to complete his West Ham exit yet again Claret and Hugh have learnt tonight.

The Senegalese player is undergoing a medical and hopes to join French team Rennes before the transfer window closes.

This time the striker has received permission from the club his exit appears inevitable unless he fails his medical which is still a possibility considering his injury record.

A senior source close to club confirmed the latest rumours about the 27-year-old saying that the club were sadly letting the striker go on the cheap.

Despite online sources suggesting he only has five months on his current contract at West Ham remaining we have learned tonight that he has three years with an option for another two years which makes the news even more disturbing.

The source told Claret and Hugh Sadly he is being sold on the cheap. The whole situation has been very frustrating”

Sad day to see our best striker leaving for nothing and players like Carroll staying. Bad egg my foot if you see someone get 4/5 times as much as you, you are right to be annoyed. The club did nothing. I cannot understand why we did not pay him more – there is only one loser here and it is West Ham.

On his day he was our best striker.Would he have stayed if offered more money?.At least he has not been sold to one of our rivals in the prem as he really could come back to haunt us.Now use what we save on wages and fee on a new striker Sully B4 Wednesday.

If he was refusing to play why was he on the bench and never getting on ?
Load of bolloxxx! They must have Carlton Cole lined up to replace him on 15 Bob a week with a bonus of 3bob a goal ! , still at least they get their 4 mill back for Mario ! Truth is that’s why he’s going cheap ! 2 years left and he’s worth 25-30 mill in today’s market and the dildos are still shifting blame on him when it was the little billy liar that caused it all in the first place.
Fekin amateurs !! Good luck sakho you’re better off out of this mess , they obviously don’t know it yet but peoples feelings are changing for the worse with this mob ! And unless it changes soon they will not survive , enough is enough !! 😈

I can’t believe he’ll pass the medical. I can however sympathise with him when he sees Carroll earning twice as much as him. Other players must also be frustrated with Carroll who trains when he wants to and features in a few games a season. He’s now out for the rest of the season on £90k per week. What’s the betting he goes on holiday with Wolf Nine while our lot will be fighting relegation.

I find it staggering that with all the injuries we have and mainly forwards that we are letting a striker leave surely we have a replacement??? ..this is ridiculous we are so thin there is no way we can survive we need at least another 3 player’s.. They are having trouble signing players because the bids are so far away from the player’s valuation .yeah we try to get a good deal but offering 15 mil for a 30 mil player is just a waste of everyone’s time …have they really not learned from the last 3 Windows.. Ffs

I feel really sorry for the injury faking mardy git who believes in witch doctors and only earns 30k a WEEK. Good riddance.

This transfer window illustrates how ‘despicable’ and rotten the co-owners leadership of the Club is proving to be. There is no strategic nous guiding a developmental policy for securing new players. Manchester City, United, Liverpool have a strategic approach. The co-owners and Alan Sugar’s Damsel simply buy on a knee-jerk basis. And if there is a business model operating here it’s of the kind Lazarus and 64 refer to: despicably amateur.

Selling Sakho isn’t the issue really. Not buying two centre backs, two midfielders and two strikers -the Noah policy, two by two – is the perennial issue.

Meanwhile we also need an ‘exit policy’ for those who can’t deliver: Ayew, Chicharito, Carroll – if he’s ever fit again – and Hart.

Good job Mr Moyes has re-assured us he can ‘do it anywhere’ otherwise I might have thought we were Championship bound. At least we’ll get another crack at Wigan.

Wonder if anyone knows of a rich Gulf Arab looking for a busted football club they could build into a credible brand?

In many ways I’m glad the Sakho saga is done. He was never going to get either the playing time or the dosh he wanted. He’s had more medicals at Rennes than games for us recently.

Reported on Sky as going for £8m. Won’t get you much but then Sullivan was quick to deny that he is short of cash. So now he can bid a bit higher for the striker he had lined up lol.

Sakho must be reasonably fit (or Rennes are a complete bunch of numpties). If under these circumstances a decent replacement striker does not arrive in the next three days the fans will be justified in going mental. At this stage last season we were in a stronger league position & they took a massive gamble on the strikers- who all went sick. I think if they do it again & it all goes wrong there will be quite a few not willing to turn up & give their support in the Championship. This is exactly my sixtieth season & It is only force of habit that keeps me coming back to be treated like this.

As to Sullivan’s argument hat he has loads of cash but can’t seal the deals- look at Everton. Over to you Mr S.
