Sakho spells it out after “three wonderful years!”

|

Diafa Sakho says he is itching for a change and France would be the best place

Diafra Sakho is this morning reported as claiming he wants to leave West Ham in what can only be described as the most diplomatic of words.

It even includes a reference to his “three wonderful years” at the club which by any stretch of the imagination may be a slight overstatement.

Sakho scored the winner against Swansea earlier this month to briefly lift the pressure on boss Slaven Bilic but has now made it clear he sees is future in France.

He said: “I still want to leave – I don’t hide it. I want a change of environment. I’ve spent three wonderful years at West Ham but I want to see other things and I think that going to France would be a good challenge.

“One day in the future perhaps I’d like to come back, but right now I want a change of scenery.”

Sakho has since claimed the failed medical in Rennes during the summer – which saw him hit with new disciplinary rules, followed by the arrival of his agent and himself Chelmsford Racecourse that day – was sanctioned by the club.

But he said in his statement published in The Sun: “I understood the situation and came back – but that didn’t change my desire to leave.

“I’m happy to be here today, but nothing has changed. I have nothing against the fans, players or manager but nobody has convinced me to stay.”

If nobody convinced Sakho to stay (Bilic and’or the players), then that is a very sad reflection on the present nature of our club. Shame on all of those players who failed to stand up for the guy! Where is that sense of West Ham decency and integrity, that has made us such a great club!! Shame on you, Bilic- you treated Valencia poorly, and essentially ignored Sakho in favor of his WC-winning pin-up boy, Andy Carroll. What an insult!! Before that, we didn’t give Alex Song, or even Nene a proper go; now Nene, at the age of 38, is still playing very well for Vasco de Gama, at the Maracana.
My heart will weep the day that Sakho leaves, although surely it would give young Tony Martinez the chance he deserves, playing together with Chicharito up-front.
Meanwhile, Andy can take Slav;s half-time snack order, as the game continues.
Listen Mr..Bilic, you insistence in playing Andy Carroll is becoming a bit too much for us to take!! Get a grip, man!

It is an odd situation, Sakho I am sure must be pretty difficult to work with, having said that we need match winners and he most certainly fits into that category, let him go at the end of the season by all means on a free or whatever but play him and let him show his prospective suitors the player they could sign which should benefit us in terms of results.

Convinced him to stay? What might his terms be I wonder? Here is a guy who has a poor injury record, who is clearly exceptionally difficult, and who tried to manufacture his own move. Yes we all want a player with his energy, pace and goal-scoring ability, but not one with his attitude. Carroll and Arnie are filling those shoes nicely already. What is obvious is he is never going to be content at West Ham, so as with Bilic, move him on. These guys are not bigger than our club.

There’s enough upset within the club and players like Sakho doesnt help.
So he wants to move .
The club need to get rid a.s.a.p and not play him.

The fact that we have bent over backwards to cure his injury probs, placate him whenever he goes into yet another strop and welcome him back after he tried to work a move to France, seems to be ignored by some. Why should we be ashamed of ourselves ?. Why should the other players have to convince him to stay? They are probably too busy trying to sort out their own game and doing what they are paid to do without complaining. He is a very talented player. unfortunately he is also an egotistical, spoilt, childish brat. However that doesn’t suit some peoples agendas so they choose to champion his cause.

So they bent over backwards to get him fit !!! Then didn’t play him 😂😂😂😂😂
He’s treating the muppets just how they have been treating him , and as for the manufactured move bullshyte you and nobody else has a clue if that’s the truth , logic says the club allowed him to go and as yet still hasn’t said if it did or not !! If it didn’t they surely would have come out and said so , Sullivan is a Bullshyter , liar , and deviouse **** , ffs wake up and smell the coffee , there’s serious 💩 going on inside this club and the board down to the management are its problem , so all you boardettes and chief executioners who know fek all what is really going on take a back seat before being judge and executioners , open you’re eyes , its no coincidence the dildos were driven out of Birmingham and are now seen a complete clowns to the footballing world !!! Ffs !! Get the fxxk out of my club before you completely destroy it !!!!

Who does know fek all? We’re all in the same boat. None of us know anything for certain so we can only say it how we see it. It’s an opinion. Because it differs to yours doesn’t make it wrong.
