Heroic Marko Arnutovich returned to the first team at Huddersfield Town today and CandH reporter Daniel Canilleri Leach was on hand to track the top man’s every move for our PlayerWatch feature

8 – Keeps hold of the ball well and releases it out wide to Zabaleta
10 – Beaten to the ball from a clearance.
10 – Plays a neat backheel pass to Masuaku but he loses the ball
12 – Has his shirt pulled persistently and should have won a foul
14 – One – two with Lanzini fails as Lanzini’s pass is poor
17 – He flicks the ball and spins around the defender when he recieves a pass from Masuaku but is slide tackled when chasing the ball
21 – Wins a foul as he is clipped
24 – GOAL – Puts pressure on the opposition defender to allow Noble to take the ball and score. 0-1
28 – Fails to hold up the ball as his touch is poor
30 – Wins the ball from a failed clearance by a Huddersfield player but the ball bounces away
32 – Makes a good interception and plays the ball out wide to Zabaleta
35 – Backheel is blocked and it goes for a Huddersfield throw in
42 – See minute 14
44 – Boots the ball away from a corner
45+1 – Makes a great run in the box between the defenders but Lanzini’s through ball is not good enough
45 – GOAL – As the ball comes from Kouyaté Arnautovic flicks it over Smith’s head and smacks the ball with his left foot into the bottom corner. 1-2

47 – Plays a good one-two with Kouyaté but the subsequent cross to Lanzini is poor

53 – Caught offside when a through ball comes to him on the left hand side

54 – Intercepts the ball really well and breaks on the counter with Lanzini but Lanzini’s shot is tame and easily saved by the keeper

55 – GOAL – Does a double step over onto to left foot, drops his shoulder sending the Huddersfield defenders and plays a sublime through ball with his left foot into Lanzini’s feet who finishes the ball into the bottom right corner. 1-3

61 – GOAL – Latches onto a Kouyaté pass on the half way line on the right side and breaks on the counter running all the way into the box dropping two Huddersfield players in the process before laying the ball off to Lanzini who smacks the ball in the roof of the net. 1-4

65 – Plays a great ball out wide to Kouyaté

66 – Fails to control the ball from a thrown in and the ball goes out for a Huddersfield goal kick

77 – Slips a neat ball into Lanzini in the midfield

77 – Controls a bouncing ball well and plays it back to Masuaku

81 – Holds the ball up well on the left hand side but his through ball to Lanzini is poor

81 – He is substituted for André Ayew and receives a great reception from the travelling fans.

Verdict – 10 The fact that he was a key figure in all 4 goals says everything. He was an absolute animal today and without him we wouldn’t have won. He worked incredibly hard today chasing down the Huddersfield back four as well as terrorising them throughout the whole match. He linked up really well with Lanzini too.

    Yes he is Sleepswiththefishes,
Bilic brought him & Moyes is getting the best out of him 6 goals 3 assists in 7 games. He had 7&6 last season w Stoke. Also the way he is on & off the pitch seems more mature admits to regretting things in past but that he can get better.
And I truely beilive he will get better seems happy here as a hammer. Loves making the hammer cross. At Stoke was couple games on then off not saying 100% yet but most consistent I’ve seen Arnie.
Think his age & new role as #9 more free has changed him & wants to have a good career & we could have him for best years of career but we need to add talent around him just like he has made Lanzini better.
Board need to add some more creativity in mid love to see James Maddison from Norwich at 21 scores another today. Frankie De Jong Deandockner good passer.
Moyes as done great with Arnie got h willing to work too

Credit to Moyes as well 200th win in PL up there w some good Company only 5th to do it. Let’s hope we can keep that winning streak going.

Arnie is really looking like the complete striker, after moving into his free-role position. His all action displays are terrifying opposition defences. He’s big, strong, fast very, skillful and scores when he likes. He is also unselfish making numerous chances for others. He has become a focal point for the whole team to work to.
At 28 he seems to have found his true destiny at last, He could be the most feared striker in the league.
