Sherwood: “Only Sam could have done this”

|

Former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood has lavished praise on Sam Allardyce claiming there’s no other manager who could have taken them to a top four place.

The 45-year-old was full of praise for Allardyce saying in his weekly Independent column: “I can’t think of another manager who, at this time, could have got West Ham to fourth in the Premier League after nine games.

“Why do managers like Alan (Pardew) and Sam carry on? They love it. They do it for those moments when they beat a team like City and that feeling at the final whistle. Nothing beats it.”

What utter tosh! It seems Sherwood simply doesn’t think.
