Slav likely to rest players for Wembley cup match

|

Slaven11Slaven Bilic is likely to make massive changes to the team which were defeated so embarrassingly at the London Stadium on Friday night partly to give others a chance to prove themselves to him but also to rest players for the Hammers crucial away game against Crystal Palace this weekend.

Bilic has already confirmed that Adrian will start in goal as his first choice cup keeper. He also explained that Michail Antonio suffered a knock to his ribs so is out as is James Collins and Diafra Sakho who only started training yesterday so are both unavailable for selection for tonight’s game.

Slav is expected to announce wholesale changes when the team is announced at 7pm this evening for the league cup tie against Spurs at Wembley.

My predicted team is: Adrian, Masuaku, Rice, Ogbonna, Byram, Noble, Obiang, Fernandes, Arnautovic, Ayew and Carroll

according to this article the team is very youthful http://www.football.london/west-ham-united-fc/fixtures-results/west-ham-spurs-team-news-13803420

I kind of hope it is true even though we would probably lose, would be nice to see the youngsters given a chance on a massive stage.

Surely Lanzini needs game time, not a rest? Sakho still got a sore back then?
I hope that both Rice and Martinez get a start, and Holland too. High time we found out which ones can cut it at a higher level. And good to see Byram and Ogbonna have a run out. I’d stick Chic on the bench in the unlikely event we are in with a shout after 75 minutes! He desperately needs a goal.

Can’t see that side creating much !!
So its hoof ball and side to back passing ?
Normal service is resumed !! Sorry for the negativity but when is bilic gonna fek off , were relegation fodder on form and lanzini needs game time as jimbo said , at least go for the cup
And not use it as a , nonexistent stepping stone , another defeat and more bad feeling and confidence will ensure !! Bilic said he’s never left a club ! All I’m saying is don’t leave the club !
Just resign ffs ! Play you’re strongest team and send them out again against palace , 3 days is and always has been enough recovery time , you recover the next day with stretching etc
Friday back to business and Saturday go again !! What’s this game come to ffs pansy,s utd 😎
